🌟 Queen of Peace: Throughout history, people have looked to the Blessed Virgin Mary as a symbol of peace and an intercessor in troubled times.

In the early 16th century a man named Jean de Joyeuse gave his new bride a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This statue uniquely depicted Mary holding the Christ Child in her left arm and an olive branch, a symbol of peace, in her right hand. The statue was passed down through the family until the couple’s grandson, Henri, gave it to the Capuchin monks in Paris when he joined the order. It remained with the Capuchins for 200 years and they gave the statue the title Notre Dame de Paix - Our Lady of Peace. The Capuchins were forced out of their monastery during the French Revolution, but protected the image of Our Lady, keeping it hidden until peace returned to France.

Another story of Our Lady Queen of Peace dates back to 1682 in El Salvador. Merchants found a box on the seashore. When they could not open the box, they brought it into town on the back of their donkey. They intended to bring the box to the local authorities, but as they passed the parish church, the donkey laid on the ground. Now, the box opened easily! The men were surprised to find that it contained an image of Our Lady holding the Christ Child. Now, at that time, the people of the region were engaged in a bloody conflict. Upon hearing about the statue of Our Lady being found, the fighting ceased immediately.

We celebrate the Feast of Our Lady Queen of Peace on July 9th.

In some cases, yes! If your item was ordered in the last 24 hours, there is a good chance we can make manual alterations to your order. If your order has already shipped or if it has been more than 24 hours since the order was placed, a change or cancellation may not be possible.

 

What do I do if my package is damaged or my order is incomplete?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Take photos of the package and items you received so that we can have them on record.

 

Can I return what I ordered?

Absolutely. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to return the item and receive a refund. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees.

 

Do you share my information? 

Absolutely not. Your information is never shared with third parties. We will only use your information to contact you about your order.
