Earrings - Rose of Lima Studs

St. Rose of Lima (born in Peru in 1586) is known for her devotion to God and her life of self-sacrifice. She lived a life of prayer, penance, and service to others and often chose to wear a crown of thorns to show her devotion to Christ's suffering.

Despite her own poverty and ill health, St. Rose of Lima spent much of her life caring for the sick and poor, earning her the nickname "Rose of Charity." She was canonized as a saint by Pope Clement X in 1671 and is the patron saint of the Americas, the Philippines, and gardeners.

These hypoallergenic and nickel free earrings are handmade and feature white resin with handpainted elements. Earrings measure approximately 3/4" across.
