Earrings - Aparecida Teardrop

Our Lady of Aparecida is the Patroness of Brazil, whose story began in 1717 when three fishermen pulled a small clay statue of the Blessed Virgin from the Paraíba River — followed by a miraculous catch of fish. That humble 16-inch statue is now enshrined in the second largest basilica in the world, and a 50-meter steel monument to her honor rises over the city of Aparecida today. She is a beloved reminder that graces are there for the asking, and that Mary has always brought our needs to the feet of her Son. Read the full story. 

These hypoallergenic and nickel free earrings are handmade and hand painted element honoring Our Lady of Aparecida, with a black and gold background, white flower and gold decorative elements. The resin is surrounded by a bronze teardrop bezel (measuring ~34.5mm from top to bottom). Due to the handmade nature of these earrings, small variations may occur.
